We are the Sauter family and we are always glad to welcome you to our modern hotel in Black Forest. The Hotel Bären is a family facility, closely related to Titisee, full of passion for the region and cordial hospitality. Thomas and Stefan Sauter grew up together with the hotel, taking it over from their parents in 2004. For our family, the Hotel Bären is a true home, which we want to share with our guests.
After a huge fire of 2011 almost destroyed the hotel, we wanted to give it a new life. Tradition kept in a modern way. A new and rebuilt facility. A structure full of wood, glass and excellent atmosphere. The heart of the tradition-rich Hotel Bären keeps on beating.
